Carrot Chantenay Red Core
An original 18th-century French heirloom, developed in the Chatenay region. A standard in the Hart Seed catalogs since 1914, that has repeatedly proven itself for sweetness at tasting trials. Roots grow 5 to 7 inches long with the classic triangle shape of wide shoulders and blunt tip. Smooth sides and consistent deep red orange flesh with a solid core.
