Delphinium - Connecticut Yankees
One of the most popular perennials in the garden, this variety blooms the first year. The shorter plants normally do not need staking. Large double florets are shades of blue, lavender and white.
May be grown in sun or partial shade. Provide support if plants will be exposed to strong winds. Seeds planted early will produce some blooms the first year. May also be planted in late spring to early fall.
