Lettuce - Oakleaf
A distinct variety of leaf lettuce, shaped like an oak leaf and of a delicious buttery flavor. The hearts make excellent 'greens' when cooked like spinach. This variety will withstand hot weather without becoming bitter.
As heads develop pick outer leaves off every other plant, then remove completely to allow the rest of the plants more space. Repeat plantings every 2 - 3 weeks for continuous harvest all season.
