Lettuce - Romaine or White Cos
This type of Lettuce will usually succeed well even during hot weather when nearly all other lettuce will bolt to seed. Romaine forms an erect plant with tightly folded light green leaves of fine quality with a crisp sweet heart.
As heads develop pick outer leaves off every other plant, then remove completely to allow the rest of the plants more space. Repeat plantings every 2 - 3 weeks for continuous harvest all season.
