Turnip - Seven Top
The standard salad turnip of the South. This variety is grown principally for its tender foliage which may be cooked as ‘greens’. Also produces a white globe-shaped turnip of good quality. Tops are large, plentiful, and mild, delicate flavor.
For first crop, plant as early in spring as ground can be worked. Plant late in summer for fall crop.
